The values that RLD Design lives by grow from how we want to be treated as customers ourselves. Every customer should expect to be treated with respect and fairness, and this is what we request of our customers as well. With that being said, there are several policies you should be aware of. If you find them unacceptable, please let us know.
If you have a question, please ask before buying. It is not always easy to tell if a product is what you expect it to be by looking at an image online. If you have any doubt as to whether an item is right for you, or you have any questions at all, please call us and let’s discuss it. The products we carry vary in size and weight as much as the delivery locations from our customers. In light of this fact, we have established easy “flat rate” shipping charges for each product. These rates are generally heavily discounted but allow us to streamline and respond much quicker to orders, so it is a worthwhile expense for us to pay.
Shipping Large Items
Many items we offer are too large and/or heavy to be shipped via traditional ground services. These items are shipped domestically by various freight companies that we partner with. There may also be additional fees for residential delivery and lift gate requirements, which can increase your freight costs dramatically. To avoid these charges we suggest either a commercial delivery address with a dock or fork lift, or a will-call pickup at the closest Freight Terminal.
Returns and Refunds
Items may be returned for any reason within 15 days of delivery to customer as long as they are in new condition with no damage or wear, and retain original tags and packaging.
If you received what you ordered but have simply changed your mind about it, or for any other reason just “don’t want it any more,” you will be responsible to pay the return shipping charges. Your return will also be subject to a 10% restocking fee and you will not be refunded the initial shipping charge. If the product you received is materially faulty or damaged due to freight we will coordinate return shipping to us at our expense.
Many items we sell may be customized or require special fabrication to suit your specific needs. Special Order items require a 100% payment up front to be ordered from the factory and manufactured. If you choose to cancel the order for any reason after manufacturing has commenced, you will receive only a 40% refund from the initial purchase price. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you, however we must strictly enforce this policy to ensure our own business viability and processes.
